Discerning Our Fruit

Attitude:
For instance, I was angry and wanted to go. I caught myself and remembered, as I woke up that morning, I agreed I would live my day by faith. I then called AAA. They diagnosed that the starter was bad, not the battery.

Action not reaction:
I decided to go to our usual mechanic. As I sat in the waiting room I overheard his talk about a problem with his computer. I offered him help and then we shared stories about our past and about my going to school to be a pastor.  He was interested, however I did not get a chance to share the gospel.

Fruit:
If I had displayed bitter fruit, I would have been crabby and angry and probably would have made many bad choices.

If I were displaying better fruit, I would have sat there quietly and not been willing or caring to help out.

However, displaying the best fruit, I gained a relationship connection for our next meeting.
