My testimony on coming to Jesus

At work another employee talked to my boss about accepting Jesus, so Heaven would be his eternal home. I felt left out, so I asked the messenger more about what the Bible says. Then, I checked out the Bible verses he gave as I unwrapped a Bible received as a gift years earlier. I learned that salvation was available only by acceptance of Jesus Christ!

• The Bible says:
• All have sinned (Romans 3:23)
• All will face death (Romans 6:23)
• After death all face judgment (Hebrews 9:27) I realized without Jesus, I and all humanity were destined for judgment.
• 1Timothy.2:5 informed me that Jesus is the only mediator between God and me; I knew I needed Jesus.

Accepting Jesus - Provides/Guarantees and

• Transforms my present destination of spiritual death-immediately into spiritual eternal life
• No more condemnation (John5:24)

I then prayed, 'I am a sinner. I need help. I trusted Jesus as Savior. I found hope in a new destiny.

So the next step after salvation is reconciliation or restoration. In reconciliation, we are free and responsible (not alone only but within the church) to begin the process of choosing to exchanging our sin nature for a new free life in the Holy Spirit by faith. In same way, Jesus chose to exchanged His life for all who call on Him! Therefore, we can now seek spiritual maturity since we are eternally assured of a new relationship, a new hope and a new life.
